To keep your dishwasher as clean as possible, follow these steps:
Outside: Occasionally wipe the outside surfaces of your dishwasher with a mild, nonabrasive detergent and water, then rinse and dry.
Stainless steel door: Clean the stainless steel door and handle with hot, soapy water and a dishcloth, then rinse with clean water and a cloth. Do not use harsh scrubbing cleaners – use only kitchen cleaners made especially for cleaning stainless steel.
Stainless steel interior: Remove spots on the door and inside the dishwasher with a damp, nonabrasive cloth.
Stainless steel filters: Your dishwasher is equipped with a state-of-the-art wash system. Periodically, you may need to clean the glass trap filter and the large food particle trap in order to maximize your dishwasher’s performance. The glass trap filter is located in the center of the large food particle trap, and is designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, bones, and pits. To remove items in the glass trap filter, grasp the handle, lift it out, empty it, and replace it.
Tip: You can use a water filter attached to your dishwasher to help prevent iron deposits (which appear as a yellow or brown film) from forming on your dishes.
