Rated 5 out of 5 by Linda314 from Great washer and dryer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research to find a washer that could handle a cold water intake only and possibly heat the water itself- our laundry room is on the second florr and the hot water pipe is clogged with sediment and not repairable, must be replaced which every plumber has said would be ridiculously expensive. We found this Electrolux washer/dryer and they are perfect! Washer heats the water on the santize mode so I can wash in hot again! Very pleased with how white it got our clothes. And the 15 minute quick wash is a lifesaver. Dryer works great too. I was leary of a front loader (always had top loaders) but I am very happy with these. I cannot fit a pedestal in my laundry room but it doesn't actually bother my back to load/unload the front loaders on the floor. So far, very happy with our purchase!
