It was engineered to die that way with plastic clutch parts. We bought this Electrolux from Hone Depot. It was the highest rated washer on their site. So far we love it. Love the detergent, water and power savings. It’s easy to use and feels premium quality. Hopefully it’ll last long.

My only criticism is that it would be nice to control the volume of the chimes that let you know when it is finished. They are quite quiet.
