The canister is a little hard to get off and empty but once I figured out how to do it it’s much easier. This is the perfect quick clean up stick. Easy to charge and store I don’t need to get my large vacuum for everyday; I only use for deep cleaning.

It has strong suction and is able to pick up so much fine dirt and dust particles as well as hair and fur. It's also lightweight and easy to maneuver. The battery lasts a long time and works well for my apartment. The magnetic stand that holds and charges the vacuum and attachments is great for saving space and keeping all the attachments together. My only complaint is that the dust collector is magnetic and can be knocked off if it gets bumped a certain way, but nothing fell out so it was fine. Regardless, this is the best vacuum that I've owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for homes with pets [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom was looking for a new stuck vacuum and asked showed me a few that she was interested in. I came across the Electrolux ultimate 800 pet vacuum and was very impressed. I liked that it was very lightweight and that it came with multiple cleaning tools. After comparing the Electrolux with other brands, I decided that I was actually going to purchase it myself as well. I’m very happy with it. A few quirks to get used to as far as emptying the dust container and putting it back in. Once I figured out how to line it up, it is not an issue. The plug on the bottom of the stand is on the side and I had to get a flashlight out to find it. I am definitely a more visual person so looking at instructions is never helpful. Though the vacuum is amazing for picking up pet fur, it still gets stuck on the beater bar. If you just step on the button, it does help to loosen the fur. Overall, I would highly recommend this vacuum. It’s very easy to maneuver switches nicely from hardwood floors to carpets and definitely picks up more stuff than I even knew was in my brand new carpet.
