Rated 5 de 5 de par Really good gas dryer with many useful features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Electrolux purchase. This is a really good dryer. I have used most of the features and have been impressed to say the least. Long gone are the days of running the towels through twice because they didn’t quite dry. It has a dry boost feature which is energy saving and dries the load in less time. There’s an anti static feature so I don’t have to add dryer sheets anymore which is good for the environment and those in our house who are sensitive to perfumes and dyes. I bought the pedistal (that is optional) that I highly recommend so I don’t have to bend down as far to get my load out of the dryer. The door can open from the right or the left which we did change to suit our laundry room. There’s a signal to alert me when the load is dry which is nice especially because my laundry room is in the basement. Each dryer setting is customizable to fit my needs and a timed drying setting also. What I like is if I’m doing a load of delicates and pick all my settings like low heat, anti-static, etc, so before I press start, it’ll display how long the dry time is depending on the settings I chose. If I think that’s too long, I can adjust the settings. There’s also a pause button in case I have to stop the load for some reason to add that sock that I found on the floor and press start again to resume. It was well thought out in terms of features. There’s a dial that’s easy to turn and key pad for those with arthritic hands. The lint trap sits right in front so when I open the door I remember to clean it. Once the dryer starts it displays the dry time and counts down so if I look at the dryer and it reads “12” I know there’s 12 minutes left to dry. It holds an extra large load which allows me to dry my comforters and pillows without having to go to the laundromat. There’s a signal drum lights up when the door is open and when the load finishes and stays lit for a minute or two. Also, the door has a glass window which can be handy.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Electrolux Enthusiasts! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally, we weren’t fans of Electrolux appliances, as we had heard not very good things about them. We’ve always been been Maytag customers and had our washer/dryer for almost 30 years, before the washer finally began deteriorating with a really loud spin cycle noise, which was a sign that the drum was not going to last much longer. Anyway, we went shopping for a new Maytag set, but they didn’t have the ones we were looking for in stock. However, the salesman was very persuasive at getting us to look outside the Maytag box, and we noticed these Electrolux machines and they offered the same features as the Maytag brand, so we decided to give them a try, and see how it goes. Thus far, we are quite happy and very pleased with our choice. While we are still in the honeymoon stage with these shiny new machines, and their many appreciated features, we are very hopeful for a positive and long term alliance with the Electrolux brand. We also opted for the drawers at the bottom, which weren’t available with our Maytag’s at the time, but now, in our 60’s these are very nice to have, as the back issues have begun to fade in, and having these at normal height make it much easier and comfortable when moving clothes from washer to dryer. The Perfect Steam feature is next‑level—wrinkles melt away, clothes come out smooth, polished, and ready to wear straight from the dryer. Dress shirts, pants, even tees look so crisp that I genuinely don’t reach for an iron anymore. Add in the LuxCare Dry System, which perfectly senses moisture to protect fabrics from over‑drying, and you get clothes that feel softer, look better, and last longer. It’s fast, quiet, powerful, and finishes laundry like a professional press. This isn’t just a dryer—it’s a wardrobe upgrade. Highly, highly recommended.

What a difference a couple of decades make. The controls are easy and intuitive, the dryer is efficient, and it's amazingly quiet. Worth every penny
